LEFT BEHIND

New York is simply incredible. Having spent only two weeks there and having only few hours a day to get photos because of the workshop to attend, it amazes me how many pics I've got in such a short time. Digging into my files and negs it's like pulling a lot of rabbits out of the hat. These series is about my favorite left-behind lover. It's just like before, but different. I will never be the person I was before. I had to know who I needed to be in order to do this. I came all this way and now I donít even know what to tell you. I am sitting here on the floor with these photos and a memories. Itís all hitting me at once. It was sad parting with my favourite place Brooklyn. I wanted to keep the rearview mirror of a taxi as a souvenir, the thing that says you really only need to look back when you have to. Sometimes I think photos are not enough for the purpose.
